Refund Policy

Sonner AI sells access to digital services (French pronunciation coaching, accent scoring, and related features). This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work alongside our Terms of Service and checkout provider rules.
1. Digital goods
Because the Service is delivered online and consumed immediately upon account access, refunds are limited except where mandatory consumer law guarantees a statutory right of withdrawal or refund. Nothing here limits rights you cannot waive by contract in your jurisdiction.
2. Subscriptions
Paid plans renew until canceled through the mechanism provided at purchase (billing portal linked from your receipt, account settings where available, Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe/Lemon Squeezy customer portal as applicable). Canceling stops future renewals—it does not automatically refund fees already billed unless a refund is granted below.
3. Stripe or web checkout
If you purchased through Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, or another web checkout vendor we designate, refunds—when eligible—may be issued to the original payment method. Taxes and currency conversions are reconciled according to processor rules at the time the refund executes.
4. App store billing
Purchases billed through Apple or Google follow that platform’s billing and refund workflows. Sonner AI cannot always process refunds directly for those storefronts—contact Apple Support or Google Play Help for storefront-managed purchases.
5. Eligibility guidelines
We typically consider refund requests when:
- You experienced a duplicated charge, outage, or entitlement bug that prevented use of purchased features—and we verified the issue within a reasonable timeframe of your purchase.
- You are exercising a statutory withdrawal or cooling-off window available in your jurisdiction and you have not continued to heavily consume paid features inconsistent with withdrawal (for instance after extensive Pro usage beyond trial limits).
- We ended the Service for reasons within our control and did not provide a substitute access period.
We generally do not refund partial subscription periods for change of mind after meaningful use, except as law requires.
6. Free trials and promotional pricing
If a trial converts to a paid subscription, cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges per the platform’s timing. Promotional or discounted plans are refunded only to the extent required by law or expressly stated at checkout.
7. Chargebacks
Contact [email protected] before disputing a charge with your bank; chargebacks may result in suspension of access while the claim is reviewed.
8. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with the email on your Sonner AI account (if any), the purchase date, plan name, receipt or invoice ID from Stripe/Lemon Squeezy/Apple/Google, and a short description of the issue.
9. Timing
Approved refunds usually post within five to ten business days; bank posting delays may apply.
10. Changes
We may revise this Policy. The posted “Last updated” date reflects the newest version offered at sonnerai.com/refunds.
