Ratings
Every test is sung (or rapped on the beat). Talking into the mic does not score.
A full singing rating is the big picture. The shorter tests fill in one piece of your style — range, tone, pitch center, breath, agility. Voice type and the other short tests need a voice profile — sign in first so they have somewhere to live.
Sing anything you like for about a minute — or use the lines we put on the page. Talking does not count. You get an overall score plus pitch, rhythm, tone, range, expression, and phrasing.
Take this testPick a karaoke track, sing the lyrics. Original songs only. We score how close this take sat to that line.
Take this testThis is the “where does your voice live?” test. You glide from an easy low to an easy high. We guess a working region (baritone, mezzo, and so on) and a comfortable span. It can move a bit from take to take. Sign in required.
Sign inSame pitch, three words. We listen for color (bright, warm, dark), how heavy the sound feels, and how the note starts. Stay at talking volume. Louder does not help this one. Sign in required.
Sign inWe want to know if you sit a little sharp, a little flat, or dead on when you hold a note. Three easy holds of “Stay” is enough. Sliding around makes this harder to read, so pick a pitch and stay there. Sign in required.
